MIKE KNOX
Mike is the owner and operator of MK Boxing in Woburn. Mike has studied with Shotokan and Uechi Ryu Karate styles in high school and college.
He has also trained for years in traditional Martial arts in Shotokan, Ueichi-ryu, Goju-Ryu and Kenpo. Mike continues to train in the Martial arts and Boxing. He has a passion for Japanese Jiu Jitsu. Mike currently trains members in kickboxing, boxing, self-defense and Japanese Yoshitsume Combat Jiu Jitsu and is available for personal training by appointment. Mike currently teaches a number of kickboxing conditioning classes that involve the use of hands, elbows, knees and feet on the kickboxing bags and focus mitts. The classes are fun, challenging, exciting and high energy. Members can learn lots of new skills and get in great shape! |

JAMES MCNALLY
1974 NE Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion, 1975 NE AAU Heavyweight Champion, 1975 Most Outstanding Boxer in NE, 1976 Silver Medalist, Int'l Youth Games, Montreal Canada, 1977 NE Golden Gloves Light Heavyweight Champion.
Jim represented the U.S. in 5 Int'l competitions compiling a 4-1 record... Gaining a final amateur record of 61-7. Jim also fought professionally and achieved a record of 19-1 with 12 knockouts and retiring 17th ranked light heavyweight in the world.

CHRIS ELDRIDGE
Chris is teaching Muay Thai to members on Monday and Wednesday nights from 7:30pm to 9:00pm as well as on Friday evenings at 6:30pm. Chris has over 19 years of training in the martial arts area and has competed in amateur fights. He is trained in Thai Boxing, Kickboxing, Savate and Kempo Karate.
Chris also does personal training. |

JEFF BURGER
Jeff joined MK Boxing as a Kickboxer and Muay Thai Instructor. He is one of the few Americans to recieve instructor status from the Muay Thai Institute in Thailand and was recently promoted to their U.S. Representative. Jeff has coached several national and world champions and took a silver medal at the 2006 World Championship. Jeff has made many martial arts training trips including Thailand, China, Japan and Phillipines and has instructor ranks in Karate, Ju Jitsu and Kung Fu. |

WILL GAFFNEY
Will Gaffney is an Instructor at MK Boxing teaching Boxing on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday nights. Will is also a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Shotokan. He has competed in amatuer Boxing and Kickboxing tournaments. He also trained years ago under the legendary fighter Tommy Collins.
Will brings experience and is a great addition to the MK Boxing's team of instructors. |

RYAN SCOTTRON
Ryan is a former Division 1 College football player with experience in Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Weight Training and various conditioning programs. His classes at MK Boxing are very popular. Ryan currently competes in amateur Muay Thai Tournaments and is a great addition to the staff at MK Boxing. |

ROBERT JONES
Robert comes with over 12 years of experience and has an undefeated amateur record. Robert trained for many years under the direction of Dennis Murphy in Boxing and Kickboxing. He has a great positive attitude and is very disciplined in his own training. Since Robert has started at MK Boxing his classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays have become very popular. Robert is a great addition to the team of instructors at MK Boxing. |

FUMIKAZU SAWA
Fumi has over 20 years of experience in the martial arts including Karate, Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. He was trained for full contact bare knuckle karate (Kyokushin) for 15 years in Japan. He has completed in the "All Japan Karate Tournament" and other fight tournaments in Japan. Fumi has many years of experience and knowledge in competing for fight tournaments. The focus of his Muay Thai class will be on defensive and offensive fighting techniques, striking, conditioning and sparring. This will be a great class for members looking to compete in the fight arena. |

JIM LALLY
Jim is a 2 time Navy Champion in 1987 and 1988 at 139 lbs and 156 lbs. He won California Golden Gloves Champ in 1987. In 1989 he won both the New England Golden Gloves Champion and New England ABF Champion. In 1990 he won the New England Golden Gloves Championship. Jim has fought in two Olympic training centers in Colorado Springs, CO and Lake Placid, NY. He has fought in amateur fights all over the United States and in Cuba. He holds an impressive amateur record of 47 - 13. We are very excited to have Jim join us on the MK Boxing staff. |

Justin Piper
Justin Piper is a long time fan and practitioner of the martial arts. He holds a black belt rank in Kenpo Karate, as well as having studied Chung Moo Doe, Ju Jitsu, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Goju Ryu and Boxing. Justin has also competed in many regional tournaments in forms and sparring. At this time, Justin is focusing on his Boxing skills and hopes to compete in the area in the future. |

MIGUEL RIVERA
Miguel began training at the age of 8 when his friend and champion boxer John Ruiz introduced him to the sport of Boxing. Miguel has trained in boxing for over 15 years and has competed as an amatuer fighter. Miguel has also been training for a number of years in No Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has now been focusing on training up and coming MMA fighters who are now professionals. Miguel will focus on teaching both stand up and ground techniques in the same class. These classes will be offered 2 times a week on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 7:30 pm-9:00 pm. We are very excited to have Miguel teaching at MK Boxing and welcome him to our wonderful team of instructors. |
